Academic Skills Workshops: Semester 2, 2008
The following workshops are run by the SCA learning advisers. Workshops are free to all School of Communication & Arts students. Most workshops are offered more than once in a week – session times are listed below. Students can attend a workshop every week, or come only for the topics that interest them.
The English Skills Workshops and the Speaking & Listening Workshops are specifically designed for students from a non-English speaking background, however, everyone is welcome. The Study Skills Workshops and Grammar Workshops are designed for native English speakers, but again, everyone is welcome. All workshops usually have a mixture of students, and this works well. Workshops are, of course, free!
Please note: Students who attend workshops get first priority for one-on-one appointments.
