Postgraduate studies at the School of Communications and Arts is available by
coursework or by
research.
Masters by coursework is offered full-time or part time. The course is designed to provide graduates of other disciplines with the opportunity to acquire advanced knowledge and understanding of a specialised field of Communications, Creative Industries or Contemporary Arts. Alternative exit points, prior to undertaking the Masters project, are available at Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma levels.

The postgraduate research course allows students with academic and theoretical interests in a particular area of study to complete supervised research thesis which demonstrates original research and critical ability. A successful completion qualifies the candidate to undertake a PhD. Candidates have normally completed a three year bachelor’s degree.
